Can't access diagrams

I'm currently evaluating EA to adopt for my team. We already had a project we worked on some.

I tried adding it into version control (VSS) and succeded.

After I was done, already open diagrams that were checked out could be edited, but I can't open other diagrams from the project explorer. When I click a diagram the selection jumps to the containing package.

I actually made a copy of the project before I started messing around with  the version control but it behaves the same way when I open it. The same goes for EA's example project.

I tried looking for 'lock' in the manual, figuring perhaps the version control operation locked the packages. I couldn't find the lock/unlock package options in the menu where the manual said they'd be (and besides I think lock enables viewing but not editing so it's probably not even the case).

I currently have build 749 installed - I know it's not the latest if it matters.
