How can I open an EA Project created in an later version?

Make a copy of the repository and open it in your recent version. It will be upgraded and you can then work with the upgraded release.

If you need to make changes in the older release, you have to install an older version of EA. Ask Sparx sales support for the according version if it's not available for download.

If its vice versa, ask for an XMI export. You shoud be able to import XMI in an older EA-version.
