Off-page connectors?
« on: July 27, 2005, 05:19:11 am »
I'm new to EA and am working on an ERD. It's pretty large, and there are a lot of foreign key constraints. I'm try to keep the diagram somewhat clean, so I'd like to have some of the associations just point to some indicator (like a circle with a lettter in it) that has a matching indicator on another page which leads to the other table. Or something else with the same effect.

I've been through the help and the on-line references, but can't find what I'm looking for. Maybe I'm not wording my searches right.

Thanks

You can drop packages or diagram references in your diagrams.

I have a similar question.
If I create a top level group of packages and set up
associations and dependancies at this level, then open up one of these (sub-) packages, can EA automatically show the appropriate associations and dependancies
without me having to explicitly pull them in from the view?

Thanks
