Question for me that doesn't know...  I'm following the Oracle instructions I can find on the site and step #4. bothers me.  It just says:
"Run the script to create all of the required tables/indexes etc."

I don't see a script available and I can only assume this is referring to a script I should have created myself for any tables etc..  I need or is there a script somewhere of EA required tables/indexes etc..  I'm supposed to be able to find?
Thanks,
Christine

Hi Christine,

the script is available in the Registered Users section, under Corporate Resources.

Hope this helps!

I did use the scripts that Bruno mentioned.  Make sure that you grab both Oracle scripts tho.

FYI:  I was also able to export from my existing .eap file into Oracle DBMS using EA's Data Transfer Tool (From the EA Menu Bar >  Tools/Data Management/Data Transfer...)

Can one of the posters that made this work verify which version of ODBC they used to connect?  I know that the DDL Import only works with Oracle's ODBC and not Microsoft's and wondered if similar issues exist with the upsizing of an .EAP into Oracle.

Thanks -

I have tried to connect to Oracle 10g repository. I have a ODBC configured and in operation. I am trying  to connect via Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drives  I am connect with Oracle 10g with this driver out from EA, but when I try to connect inside EA the following errors occurs:

Invalid data source...
You must suply a connect name

Funny, because when I test the connect before in EA´s dialog for connection, the test pass.

Any suggestions?

I´m sorry for my bad English

To connect to an Oracle repository, use the "Oracle Provider for OLE DB".
Remember to transfer a data model (EABase.eap is a good start) to the repository before attempting to open a project.

To use the import ddl from odbc feature, connect using the Oracle ODBC driver.

I've just been asked the same thing so I was wondering if anyone knew if Oracle 10g Release 2 was supported by EA?
