Exception Edge
« on: December 16, 2005, 05:53:08 am »
Hi,

Where ca I find the Exception Edge in EA?

For your information:
An exception edge is a type of activity edge drawn as a lighting bolt. It connects the executable node that is being protected by an exception handler to an exception input node on the border of the exception handler.

Thanks in advance

It's in the Activity Toolbox, labelled as Interrupt Flow.  You may need to scroll down the toolbox to see it.

But it's impossible to connect an activity (or an action) to the exception handler.

EA means that's not UML compliant!

Will be fixed for 781. Note that you don't connect the interrupt flow directly to the exception handler but to its action pin.
