Default Diagram
« on: December 16, 2005, 08:13:47 am »
This is nothing important, but I wanted to know if there is some way to "unset" the default diagram? ???

It is annoying to have some diagram shown automatically in a project when opening it. Especially when many people are working on the same file and don't need to work on that default diagram at all.

thanks  ;)

Hi,

I haven't checked recently, so if there is an easier way in the recent version, I apologize. The way I used to do it, I would create a new diagram, set it as default and then delete the diagram - which would "unset" the default diagram :-)
By the way, each user can set their own default diagram, so that might be an answer to the scenario you have described.

Hope this helps!

Guys,

Still no explicit "unset" option AFAIK but it actually makes me smile when I have to create and delete a diagram to do the unset...a small price to pay for a good smile  ;D

EA's Unique Interface mostly makes me grin. Microsaft's Useless Interfaces make me angry. I love my Mac :-*

For EAP repository's:

UPDATE usys_system SET usys_system.[Value] = Null
WHERE (((usys_system.Property)="Default Diagram"));
