Options/Diagram "Zoom to best scale"

Sparxians,

Has the alorithm for this option changed recently?  Best scale  seems to have become Select scale where info is "too small for Bruce's failing eyesight" and "ensure that the elements only occupy a max of 66% of the drawing panel".
