class diagram default details

Is there a way to configure my settings (or the EABase) to show full parameter details on all new auto-generated class diagrams? I import a source directory and create class diagrams, but I have to manually change the details and re-layout each one, very annoying...

Create a new package. (Call it 'Templates' or something similar)
Create a class diagram in that package.
Set the options for the diagram that you want saved.
Select Settings | Template Package.
Select your package from above.

Alternatively, on the directory import dialog click the 'New Diagram Options' button.  It gives options to set on all diagrams created by a source import.

I do not see the 'New Diagram Options' button when I do
Project | Source Code Engineering | Import Source Directory.

Where you referring to version 6 (I am running EA 5), or am I not doing it correctly?

This is new with EA 6.0

Yes, I was referring to version 6, and the button is new.  You can still set up a template package, but the menu command will be at Project | Set Element Template Package.

Is setting the "Template package" also then supposed to provide a set of defaults for packages created manually within the model ?   Doesn't seem to do this, but as you have to select a default template from the current project hierarchy anyway it would be great if it did.

Or have I missed something ?

It doesn't appear to.  As far as I know it's only intended to work for elements and diagrams.
