Setting what to display inside the package element
« on: January 12, 2006, 01:32:28 pm »
Hello,

On class diagrams, package elements display what's contained within them, e.g. use cases, classes, etc. I want some content not to be displayed inside the package element. For example, I'd like to show only some top-level use cases and classes, and hide actors or unmeaninful classes. Is that possible?
Regards,
Ruslan Popov

Don't think it's possible.  As far as I know it's an all or nothing thing.

As I understand it there are a couple of other options to control package content display although they won't meet the requierment here.   Of course, there's "Show package contents" under diagram properties, but under Tools/Options/Diagram/Behaviour you also have some global settings such as
- Show linked items in package
- Show package item scope
