more same elements in a diagram
« on: January 19, 2006, 08:36:40 am »
Hello,

to avoid a helterskelter of association lines in a class diagram i want to paste a class elemnt once defined as a box without showing the members. I can do this in two seperated diagrams by pasting the elemnt as link. But if I try doing this in the same diagam, EA prompts "...currently only one instance is supportet...".
How can I solve this?

thanks

Why do you want to have the same element twice in a diagram?

One way is to make a diagram only containing the element. Then you drag the diagram into the diagram where you want the element twice and add it as a frame. You can add the same frame multiple times.

However it depends on why you want to do this whether this is a variable solution...
