Author Topic: EA 6, Discussion Forum and EA Lite (Read 6017 times)

The answer to this is probably no, however is it possible for users running EA Lite to participate in the project discussion forum even though they cannot update the model itself in any way ?

If it isn't possible could it be made possible ?

Actually it has already been discussed and we made the decision to allow access/editing the forum in the lite edition. I just installed and ran the latest lite edition and it worked.

Just select Project Discussion Forum from the View menu.

I've just been testing the EA Lite version 6.1.785 and I a can create a New Post but cannot add any text in the Post window.

Is this a bug or an intentional restriction?

I also have a full Corporate version of EA 6.1 on the same machine would this be affecting the Lite version?

I'm pretty sure it's a bug, I'll get it checked and fixed as appropriate.

Oh good stuff, we were just about to deploy the application to our Business Users as a way of keeping track of all project correspondance. I'll now await your next revision.

Is that build 786 released 1st Feb or 787 ?

Sorry, I didn't get around to posting that it wasn't able to be fixed in 786. It should be 787.

Did the fix make it into 787 ? I didn't see any reference to it in the release notes.
