Hi all...

Relative newbie here - I am having trouble preserving the open diagrams / relationship matrix for my project when I close & re-open it.

I've tried using the 'User Layouts' but that only addresses which project related windows and their size.

How can I set EA (v6.1) to remember what I had open last time I closed it ?

You can only set one diagram to open each time you load a model. You do that by openning it and selecting Diagram | Set as Model Default.

There does seem to be another option which has appeared which is "Set as user default" also off the Diagram menu.

I always assumed that "Model Default" was for all the users whereas "User Default" only for the current user. Not sure if that is really the case though.

That's a shame...

As we have one model / multiple users and the traceability matrix is a key report in EA (matching requirements to use cases), we'd have liked to have that included in the default view...

Maybe a feature request to preserve all open diagrams on next load ?

Try so. I remeber someone having written a start macro to pop all neccesary diagrams. Might that be an option?
