Copy Embedded Element to New Parent?

I see that I can move an Activity Pin from one activity to another, using the project view. However, I don't see a way to copy the pin. I'd like to preserve the notes, etc. from the pin's properties.

Control-drag didn't work. In fact, the cursor doesn't gain a "plus" sign until it's over the diagram surface.

I cant verify this, but it works for attr/ops: Drag from project view onto a diagram element creates a copy.

Perhaps this is the difference between "features" (attr/op) and embedded elements (action pins, activity parameters, etc.)
