example of diagrams for web application or portal

Hello

I'm going to issue a bid on building web portal connected with library system. I thought that it would be nice to make UML diagrams of what I mean portal is so that companies who will build that portal will understand my needs.
Because I'm rather new to building diagrams esspecially for web purposes I like to know if any of you have got a such or similar UML project. I'm affraid that without help of any living example I cannot build good diagrams.

Darek,
ask yourself: would I publish this bid in Chinese if I don't speak Chinese and someone hands me out a paper which in his words contains what I need? Certainly not.

If you'd like to go the way you asked, you'd definitely have to learn UML in advance.
