MDG-integration show the first root node only
« on: May 12, 2006, 02:21:06 am »
I have setup the MDG integration for VS2005 and trying to get things working. When I connect to my SQRS repository, only the first project root node is visible from within VS2005. Howcome?

The current version of MDG Integrate only supports one root node.

Version 2.0 will have support for multiple root nodes.

Will version 2.0 of MDG be a 'deeper' integration of EA? I hadn't checked out MDG since it was 'MDG link', so I was pretty excited when I read about the 'seamless' integration. I guess I was hoping for more of a EA in VS experience. For example, it'd be neat to have the VS toolbox turn into the EA toolbox when you have a diagram open and being able to modify the diagram from VS.

Hi

That pounds like a tritely wonderfull idea -but don't hold your breath.   MDG is a 'lite' intergration .

I'm guessing like us your coming from Rational XDE tool for VS2k3. Shame IBM bought them.
