Component Diagram: Assembly can't be used?
« on: May 30, 2006, 09:13:36 pm »
I have a component diagram and I am trying to use the assembly connector to connect component elements but I get the error message "The requested connection is not UML compliant". The Diagram is UML. What am I missing here? Surely I can use assembly to assemble a system of components?

That was fixed at EA version 6.0.780. If you have an earlier version, go to "Tools | Options | Diagram" and clear the "Strict UML Syntax" option.
