Basic traceability question

Gday,
Here's an easy one for you. I'm currently creating  dependencies between requirements and sequence diagrams by dragging sd's onto Composite structure diagrams and then dragging my requirements over the embedded sq element in the composite diagram. This is all fine except for each sd i embed into the cd a pacakage is created in the project view which is cluttering things up. Is there a better  way to do what I'm trying to accomplish?

I did not really try to follow what you're doing exactly, but you can create <<trace>> relations to requirements. These can be handled via the Relationship Matrix quite effectively.
