Embedded elements in sequence diagrams
« on: July 12, 2006, 05:10:12 pm »
We are attempting to add some sequence diagrams to a model consisting of components with embedded elements - specifically, ports that provide interfaces.

Unfortunately, we cannot seem to explicitly represent these in the sequence diagram.  If we drag and paste a component as an instance while attempting to include the embedded elements, these appear as a pile of lifelines that cannot be disentangled.  If we add the instance and then attempt to add ports to it,  EA crashes.

Any clues on how to get this to work?

This has been fixed for EA 6.5 which is due for beta release I don't know when (soon).
