Use Of EA
« on: July 14, 2006, 02:12:53 am »
I work for a retail company that has been using EA for a couple of years now.

We use EA here in our IT Department to put together process and system designs. These designs are then signed off by the Business and various review bodies in IT at the end of the design phase of our projects.

We would be interested in pushing forward our use of EA, possibly using it for things such as testing and code generation.

Before we decide an approach for our use of EA, though, we would be interested to hear how other companies have been using EA.

Does anyone know (or work for) a company who is currently using EA and would be willing to talk to us about their experiences of the product?

It would be ideal if they were based in the North West of England, but any information that anyone can provide about how EA has worked for them would be gratefully received.

Many thanks.

EA may help you to fill gap between your process and system design, esp. requirements and analysis. Tracebility is great thing in EA (I recommend use of View/Hierarchy, nice feature).
P.S. I am not from Britain, not in Britain. ;-)
