Sequence Diagrams - problem with moving elements
« on: January 18, 2006, 06:33:47 am »
Hi,

Has anybody else had a problem with moving elements in sequence diagrams down the screen in the same way as they would usually move other diagrams i.e. by selecting them and moving them using the mouse or the shift and arrow keys?

While sequence diagrams can be moved from side to side, they cannot be moved down.

The reason that I want to be able to do this is to place some notes above the diagram.

Thanks.

I have the same problem, but unfortunately no solution. Appears that the vertical position is fixed even on startup.

Is there any move to change this? Is there a way to change this "behind the scenes"?

EA 6.5 (currently available as a Beta to registered users here) has introduced a variable top margin for sequence diagrams: right-click on the diagram and "Set Top Margin".
