Hi
In the user interface model, inside the folder Help System, is there the posibility for me to import a visio document inside this folder?
in order to use it as help for my users

if this isn't possible which is the benefit or the information o could place in this folder (Help System)

thanks

Hey NeophyteGirl,

No, or Yes, or maybe Maybe...

Up until version 6.1 the answer was that EA did not import Visio. As of version 6.5 (in beta 1, build 795 at this time) there is an add-in to import Visio. The add-in is also in beta 1, and has no help file. My understanding is that it will allow importing Visio diagrams, but beyond this I cannot tell you anything. You'll need Visio 2002 or 2003, or perhaps some future version; I only have 2001 so I cannot use the add-in (which, since there is no documentation, I had to load to find this out; good news is that the uninstall seems to work well).

As to whether you can use this to solve your particular problem, that's the "maybe" above. Without either documentation or a compatible version of Visio I just cannot help you there. If you're a registered user, and if you are willing to install one of the EA 6.5 beta versions, you might want to give it a whirl.

HTH,
David
No, you can't have it!
