Having heck of a time generating docs
« on: August 22, 2006, 05:48:43 pm »
I would like to include whole MS Word Files as part of the Use Case packages. How do I do it such that when I generate RTF docs, the file is part of the doc? Or, atleast I want the MS Word file to be part of the EA repository. It keeps showing as local file when I create an artifact document or use case document as part of the package.

I need this resolved very quickly so any help would be invaluable.

Thanks,
kk

If you try Linked document feature, you may generate it into RTF with adding field
Code: [Select]
model document >< model document

Bary,

Thanks for your response. Pls try a few more words to explain what you're trying to say.

Where/how do I change the RTF template to add the CODE: Model documment <-> Model document in EA?

Thanks, kkm

Try Project/Documentation/Rich Text Format report and then go into manage templates.  When you get to the point of editing a template down the left hand side you will see lots of items available to be ticked to be included - one of them within "package element" is "model document".
