XSD Generation

Hi,

 I was wondering if anyone knows if there is a way to turn off the "feature"  of generating a XSDElement for a XSDComplexType.  Is there a reason that a XSDElement is generated for a XSDCompleType in the XML Schema file?  If there is a no option to turn of the "feature", is there a way to customize the code generation of the XML Schema file?  If there is no way of keeping the model and the actual file in sync.

Any suggestions are appreciated.
