BUG: (796) Association roles wrong!!!
« on: August 30, 2006, 06:53:31 pm »
URGENT:  Beta build 796 has a major BUG!

If you draw an association from source to target, the roles are incorrectly associated with the wrong end!

Up to 6.1, the target role dropdown (correctly) gave a list of the source attributes - and vice versa for the source role.

In 796, the source role dropdown displays the source attributes (incorrectly)

There ONLY a tedious workaround.  Use the wrong dropdown to select the right attribute and then cut from the wrong one and paste to the right one.  (Else type in by hand with all the quality problems that raises)

1) Can anyone confirm this?
2) How long before we get a fix?

Paolo

Hi Paolo,

Thanks.  I can confirm the behaviour you report in the current release and that it is currently incorrect.  Have logged this as an issue and we'll try to have it fixed as soon as possible.
