Layout Diagram loses Link Name
« on: October 11, 2006, 12:15:07 pm »
In my activity diagram, I labelled links with Yes, No as was relevant to the decision boxes they are attached too.

When I use Layout Diagram, the text for these link is lost and is no longer visible, making the flow chart useless.

I take it this is my mistake (as it always seems to be with EA) so please tell me what to do so that I do not lose this info when laying out a flow chart?

If the names are actually disappearing this is a bug. For that matter, if the names are somehow getting behind something else (for example) it is a different bug.

You can probably find out which case is true by selecting one of the links involved, then checking label visibility (use the toolbar icon or menu command). If the label is checked in the dialog it should be visible, and something is getting hidden. If not, then visibility has been turned off.

Once you know which bug is occurring, report it to Sparx. You can do this from the EA main menu via Help | On-line Resources | Bug Report Page.
