How to del project file

I tried to del a project file just to find out that enterprise architect seems to save thie information in yet another file that I cannot find. Can you anyone provide help?

As far as I know, the eap file is an Access database.
When you open an Access database, an *.ldb file is created.
When you close this database, this file disappear.

Are you perhaps referring to options setttings? Some settings are meant to persist across projects. Examples might include window layouts, add-ins that load on startup, etc. These are preserved by placing them in the registry.
