links/connection between two repositories

Is it possible to access objects of another repository, by a link or similar?

You can make an Controled Package in CVS and import this package into another project. In this project you can make links.

In fact this is Export/Import via XMI, but with simple way to update this package with a new version.

Also, you don't need to use version control with your controlled packages.  See http://www.sparxsystems.com/EAUserGuide/index.html?controlledpackages2.htm
