Recently I have noticed, that EA 6.5 (797 & 798 builds) performance under Win98SE OS degradated. I mean, that visual EA response is noticable - that wasn't in effect untill 6.5 version. Another observation is, that part of EA startups are invisible - EA is running, process list shows it, however there is no window, so I can't use it. Only solution is to kill process and start EA again.
I'm not sure, do I have to report this behaviour as a bug.Also, I would like to get other users responces, who use EA 6.5 under Win98SE OS - did they encounter similar behaviour.

EA 6.1 worked like a charm - there wasn't such problems as with the 6.5 version

One of the effect on Win98SE; also, sometimes there are crashes with the BSOD message for user.exe file

if you can advise any debugger or logger for Win98SE, which could log odd things (even during crashes) - advice

I can't see your image, it's showing as a broken link. (Although I'm sure I saw it flash briefly when I first loaded the page)

strange, because I'm seeing it

maybe it's because I'm using Firefox and it understands PNG format...

There were some problems with pictures recently. The solution was to empty Cache a twice refresh. I don't know why, but it usually works.

IE (here) manages to half load the image then clears it and show the broken link. Clearing the cache means that it tries to load it again and the same thing happens. IE handles PNG images normally without a problem.
