BUG: Search BRAIN DEAD
« on: October 30, 2006, 09:18:55 pm »
I have two classes in the model with the same name.  One has a stereotype, the other hasn't

If I use the Find in Project Browser tool [Ctrl+Shift+F]  and say I want an exact match on the name of the class, it will only find one...  The one without the stereotype.

If, on the other hand, I use the Search Project [Ctrl+F] I cannot find only them using ANY of the existing predefined search strategies.

[BTW: If you want to find only those classes in the project with a given name, use simple search, edit the search so that only the name is the available filter, change the "contains" to "equal to" <search term> AND MOST IMPORTANTLY (redundantly) check the Required check box!]

Do I have the right to be exteremely frustrated (insert your expletive here) by a product whose search strategies are so BRAIN DEAD?

Grrrr...
