VS with MDG or not?
« on: November 08, 2006, 08:32:55 am »
I'm new to EA and I wonder how I should manage to control the build process. I have seen that I can create build scripts. Ok, but to start a build I have to have a solution file. I may create this manually. That would be okay. But then if I create new classes and other elements and then create the source code files how does they get into the solution file? I cannot add this manually all the time! It is the same if I change the name of elements or if I change the structure. Is there anything that reflects the in EA created structure automatically into the solution file? I'm afraid that I need the MDG link. Is this correct? But if so is it true that the build script manager in EA does not make much sense?

BTW: Does MDG works with VS2005 or just with VS2003?

Thanks in advance,
Robert
