Scaling of diagram

The size of my diagram has reduced to such a tiny frame size, I can barely see it!

I zoomed out of it and the diagram scaled down very small.

now when i zoom in and try to scroll down, I cant seem to get the picture of the bottom half of the diagram!!?

Try using the "Pan & Zoom" window: View | Other Windows | Pan & Zoom. I have it docked with the Tagged Values, Hierarchy and Properties windows in the bottom right corner of my screen. This will give you a bird's eye view of the diagram and a better idea of what is happening when you zoom in and out.
