Reporting Acceptance testing items
« on: November 22, 2006, 11:45:29 am »
I have attached acceptance testing items to use cases and user interface objects of screen mockups. Unfortunately, when printing the screen models, all the screen diagrams are printed and then the gui objects.

Is there a way to have the diagram and then the gui objects it contains printed and then the next screen diagram.

I am using version 6.1.788.  Thanks

I'm not sure.

This sounds a bit like trying to print preconditions, then something, then postconditions (for example). In that case the answer is no, you cannot quite do the tweak.

Perhaps - assuming I'm correct and also that nobody out there can get around the limitation - this would make a nice feature suggestion.
No, you can't have it!

Yikes ! !

I guess i could make each screen mockup in separate packages with each their GUI elements but seems a bit extreme to have to do that

I've been successful in creating reusable screen elements and then dropping them into screens. You have to be very careful moving screens around between packages, and there are still lingering issues.

EA is after all a UML tool, so the screen design stuff is an afterthought. Still, it would be so nice if it would do more.
