shape scripting
« on: December 04, 2006, 07:49:13 am »
Hi all,

a few hours ago RABRA (who's living next door) and me started to play around with custom stereotypes and shape sripts - with very acceptable results.

Currently, one problem remains unsolved. RABRA designed a very nice shape for 'business use case'. I transformed an instance of 'business use case' to a composite element. The appropriate symbol for 'composite element' - of course - is missing. We had the idea that we should find an element property we could evaluate within the script to determine if this symbol shall be drawn, but didn't yet. Does anyone know this property - or has another idea?

Thanx, MV

I can find nothing at all, so you're probably out of luck.

This would make an excellent suggestion, and is probably something Sparx could do in a minor release.

Since you've brought it up, I suggest you make the feature request. Use the Sparx Web page, which you can reach from within EA via Help | On-line Resources | Request-a-Feature. Doing it this way gets it directly into the Sparx hopper.

Then please post a suggestion in the appropriate section of this forum so others (including myself) can express their support. That will help Sparx with prioritizing the request.

No, you can't have it!
