Displaying Use Case scenarios
« on: December 20, 2006, 08:00:19 am »
I have noticed that in the example Use case model, Use case scenarios are displayed as linked notes in the nested activity diagrams.

I can't work out how to do this, can anyone help?

In the EA help file index, locate the "Link a Note to an Element" entry. This will give you the procedure.

This is a useful capability. You can link notes to features of quite a few different elements.

As of EA build 801 (yesterday) you can also have many elements display their notes in a partition within the element. You will probably want to play with this a bit. This does not seem to work for Use Case elements - at least not with the default settings. However, for classes this can be a helpful way to handle diagram clutter.

No, you can't have it!
