hide classifiers in a model
« on: January 10, 2007, 01:40:15 am »
Hallo,

sometimes it makes sense to have some additional information in a diagram that is not to be shown in a presentation. Is it possible to hide text areas or notes (or any other classifier) like it is possible to hide connectors?

Thanx,
R.B.

This is only possible in a quite limited way. You can change the various options on the diagram properties to show/hide certain things. To achieve what you want it would be nice if EA had a more powerful diagram stereotype handling. One could imagine to show/hide diagram elements according to the diagram stereotype (maybe additionally with a smart connection to the shape script). Things for our future whishlist :)

For now you need to maintain 2 diagrams. Maybe someone else has an idea how to do that efficiently?
