"Project Transfer" on Trial Verion
« on: December 04, 2006, 09:41:16 am »
I'm tring to evaluate the EA tool but am having a problems doing a project transfer to a MSSQL 2000 or MSSQL 2005 database.

I get the error
   Invalid object name "usys_system"

The error then cycles around different messages (t_secpolicies, t_rtf, t_secuserpermission, etc) until EA crashes.

Is this funtion disabled in the trial version or am I doing something wrong?

Sounds like you haven't run the base model SQL script on your database before performing the project transfer.  The SQL script can be found here http://www.sparxsystems.com.au/resources/corporate/

Hope that helps.

Yes, I did resolve it.

You need to go to http://www.sparxsystems.com.au/resources/corporate/ and follow the instructions to download and run "SQLSvr_BaseModel.sql" (for SQL2000 or SQL2005). You also need to enter the security key at the top of the page.
