Download of 2 of the free addins does not work

downloading of the free addins

a)
MDG Technology for Enterprise Java Beans

b)
MDG Technology for Testing

from
http://www.sparxsystems.com/products/
fails, the website shows XML code.

In opposite the 2 other free plugins for  Python + CORBA download properly.

I used W2k,SP4 with Firefox 2.x
Microsoft MSIE6 even crashes and wants to send report, when clicking on the download buttons of the 2 non-working downloads...

It all depends on your browser settings. You may get the file with context menu and Save Target As...

Try right-clicking the link. If this brings up the a context menu choose the Save target as... option. [Or whatever option looks similar; different browsers and versions might word the menu differently.]

Perhaps I did not make myself clear. What you want to do is save the XML file rather than open it. Opening the file is the default for most browsers. So you need to find a way to save it. Right-click and follow the above solutions, or open the file and use Save As to save it to your system.

Once you've got the XML file on your system you can install it as with any other profile. See the EA help or search this forum for more information.
