Manage Baselines dialog

Having just upgraded to build 766 I was interested in utilising the Diff functionality, but it seems the documentation and implementation are intent on thwarting my assessment.

The Manage Baselines dialog seems to have acquired a dose of shyness. I cannot make this dialog appear no matter what I do. The documentation tells me to right-click the head package and select Manage Baselines from the Package Control context menu. The Manage Baselines menu item never appears in the Package Control context menu.

I found a Manage Baselines menu item in the Project menu with a shortcut of CTRL-ALT-B. Neither selecting this menu item nor pressing CTRL-ALT-B do anything whatsoever.

All I want to do is create a baseline, make some changes and then do a compare to see if this feature is of some use to the organisation I work for.

If anyone could offer some insight into what I might be doing wrong or point out that this is indeed a known bug ( I searched the forums but found nothing ) they will receive my heartfelt gratitude.

Perhaps you have installed the Professional Editicion. Remember that the Manage Baseline functionality is only enabled in the Corporate Edition.

To eliminate possible sources of errors, first check that your EA is Corporate. If not, you will have to upgrade to the Corporate edition.

Perhaps you have installed the Professional Editicion. Remember that the Manage Baseline functionality is only enabled in the Corporate Edition.

To eliminate possible sources of errors, first check that your EA is Corporate. If not, you will have to upgrade to the Corporate edition.

According to the Sparx documentation, this functionality is available in the Corporate and Professional editions, and we have the Corporate version installed.

Edit: I have found that you are indeed correct, further documentation clarifies that the Corporate edition has managing baselines.

I think this is a con on the part of Sparx, limiting this to the Corporate version.

I have always stood by the maxim...  Given a choice between conspiracy and incompetence - plumb for incompetence every time!  

I don't think the "con" was intentional on the Sparxians' part.  Nevertheless they should rectify the documentation.

"Manage Baselines" is Corporate Edition only. "Compare" (aka "Diff") is in Professional and Corporate Editions.

I am trying to accomplish the same (creating a baseline) and would like to know if you were able to resolve this issue (of creating a baseline/finding the "Manage Baselines" dialog box).  Thank You.
