How do I bookmark Virtual documents?

Hi I'm new to EA and I created a virtual document with all the components I need, I can generate the document no problem, but when I use the 'Copy RTF Bookmark' it does not seem to be working correctly. When I paste into Word, I get the 'Error- bookmark not defined' message - does anyone have any ideas on what I'm doing wrong.   >:( Thanks!

I believe this has been explained in the forum before - but I'm not absolutely sure. I do know there has been some discussion of approaches to similar problems.

Search the forum and see if you can find an answer that works for you. Go back a long ways (try 999 days).

The search function can be a bit 'pigheaded' so make several attempts, using different combinations of keywords.

Thanks for your response, but I had checked the forum but no luck.  I tried again and extended the search to 999 days but still no luck.  Any other ideas - anyone???

Perhaps you haven't yet created the bookmark before attempting to copy it?

Right-click on the package in the Project Browser, select 'Bookmarks' and click 'Bookmark Selected'.

Now you may copy the bookmark to Word (Package right-click -> Documentation -> Copy RTF Bookmark)

Thanks for your suggestion.  I tried it (i.e.bookmarking first, but I do not get any data. It only generates the root package name, that's it, no contents - what am I missing?

I am successful in generating other documents from EA via the bookmarks,(I normally generate the RTF report and use the copy RTF Bookmark command - works fine). There seems to be something 'special' (i.e. something I'm missing) on how I can generate 'Virtual documents' via bookmarks.  Any ideas?
