Displaying Foreign Key Relationships on Data Model
« on: March 07, 2007, 11:50:15 am »
I have successfully imported a data model from ODBC data source.  The Data Model diagram that was produced did not show the Foriegn Keys (operations) on the diagram even though they were imported properly and are displayed in the project but dont appear on the diagram.

How do I get them to appear on the diagram?

Two things are worth checking. Do you have appropriate visibility settings on the Tools | Options | Diagram dialog? And, do you have the Operations compartment visibility checked in diagram properties? Remember that the latter setting is sticky (I think) so if it was unchecked last time you set diagram properties it could have been used when you imported the schema.
No, you can't have it!

Try also: remove the table from the diagram and drop it back from the browser. I had that similar problem with transformation.
