Duplicate connectors appearing in Seq Diagrams
« on: March 20, 2007, 12:20:48 pm »
I have noticed that if I move a sequence diagram from one location in the project structure to another, and then 'get latest' on a package that contains the lifelines for that diagram (the diagram and its elements are in two different packages) that suddenly the messages are duplicated in the sequence diagram. E.g., if their was a message "GetInstance()" from class A to class B, suddenly the diagram shows two "GetInstance()" calls from A to B. Anyone know how to prevent this behavior?

Hello mobendorf,

I am unable to reproduce this issue in Build 804.

Send-in a bug report to [email protected] specifying the Build number and a sample model replicating your issue ( if possible ). This will help us in investigating this issue further.

Cheers.

Well, I'm running 6.0.781, which might be part of the problem. Maybe this is the kick that I need to upgrade. Have you heard of this problem in your older versions?

thanks,
Mike

Hello Mike,

We did have a few issues in round-tripping sequence diagrams in the older Builds of EA.

Try downloading the latest Build ( or a trial version if your registeration has expired ) and see if it solves your issue.

Cheers.
