use case specification
« on: March 22, 2007, 12:16:11 pm »
Hi! ;)
I would like to add in my "Use Case View" in the "Project Browser", a "Use Case Specification", but I don't know what best fit for such a document. May be better to make a template (for I use it every time), if so, where and how? I am new to EA  :'(

Thank you!

Here the content of my UC specifications:
-----------------------
1.0 Use Case Name
1.1 Brief Description
2.0 Flow of Events
2.1 Basic Flow
2.2 Alternate Flows
2.2.x <Alternate flow x>
3.0 Special Requirements
3.x <Special Requirement x>
4.0 Preconditions
4.x <Precondition x>
5.0 Post Conditions
5.x <Post Condition x>
6.0 Extension Points
6.x <Extension Point x>
-----------------------

I'd like to know the answer to that question too.

However, if you going to set up a standard outline for a use case, you might also consider these Use Case topics as an authoring check list.
