Importing TaggedValues from XMI
« on: April 13, 2007, 06:44:31 am »
I'm generating XMI from the netbeans library.

<XMI xmi.version = '1.2' xmlns:UML = 'org.omg.xmi.namespace.UML' timestamp = 'Fri Apr 13 08:35:49 PDT 2007'>

will EA import any tagged values for classes and attributes?

i'm embedding them, but I don't see them in EA. but i'm very likely not using EA correctly..

any ideas..

everything else seems to import fine, from what i can tell.

after inspecting an EA export, we realized the TaggedValue "name" came from the TagDefinition, a little counterintuitive, and something we missed in the spec i guess.

And we forgot to add the TaggedValue to the model ownedElements collection. a silly bug overlooked because MagicDraw was importing the values, but oddly.
