I need to find a good training in Northern California, or someone who can fly there to present best techniques and practices of using EA. Most of the SparxSystems partners seem to focus on UML, OOA&D, SOA, etc., not on EA techniques itself. I absolutely don't want to spend any time on the external stuff, except as a vehicle to show how to do the design tasks in EA.
The team has experience with UML, the organization is quite process-oriented (high level CMMI). The team needs a solid, advance (not just show how to do this or that following the material in the EA manual - I can do this myself), and dense course on EA techniques to handle a large project design, only for software architect/designer roles.
Can gurus recommend someone, maybe from SparxSystems?
