Unattended installation?
« on: May 11, 2007, 12:32:21 am »
Hi guys,

currently we are evaluating Enterprise Architect 6.5. I am the network administrator and I was wondering if it is possible to create an automated installation of EA? Maybe by creating a mst file, or by using parameters with the setup.exe

Is there some kind of documentation of this subject?

Thanks!

Eve

If you call the installer with /passive you won't be prompted at all if EA isn't already installed.  Unfortunately if EA is already installed then you will get prompted, In that case though you can use /passive /x to uninstall.

Unfortunately, I don't know where I originally found this information except that it's the standard parameters available to the installer type that we use.
