How to deactivate unused stereotypes?
« on: May 16, 2007, 02:22:04 am »
Hello forum

There are a lot of EA default stereotypes I don't need ("asp page", "metaclass"...).
How can I disable them so that they don't appear in the stereotype lists, for example in the properties of a class?

Thanks!

Thanks, but in this dialog I can delete, not deactivate them.

I am sure that some of them will never be useful for me (asp pages for example), and I could delete them.

But the rest, I would like to deactivate it, so that it's easy for me if I need them back later.

Is there a way to do that?

Yes: Tools / Export Reference Data / Stereotypes
then you can delete the unused ones. Later you can import them again.

OK, I thought EA would somehow support this more actively.
Thanks for your help!
