HTML Prototype within EA?
« on: June 18, 2007, 05:51:10 am »
Hi,

is there a chance to integrate (create and/or reengineer) a html screen prototype in EA?

Or to create one in a way that css-templates and other design stuff which makes the user happy can be used?

I know about the tool screen architect, but would like any alternative - if there is one.

Thanx,
Ralph

Having researched and looked into this for a number of years now, other than Screen Architect, no other alternatives exist in terms of integration with EA.

Screen Architect from my perspective extends the existing UI Profile in EA way and beyond what's available. Certainly the latest release is well on track for the kind of integration required i.e. using existing EA features such as the EA Element Properties Dialog and EA RTF Documentation Generator. While some of the standard UI controls may be missing at this point in time, what's there already is more than what's available in EA. Also the performance issues previously encountered in the first release have been addressed.
