Paste element into diagram - visibility in package
« on: July 02, 2007, 02:00:02 am »
Hi,

This may be a stupid question but I've not been able to find anything on it... When I drag an element onto a package diagram and add 'as simple link' is there any way to have that element link visible when viewing the package one level up?

The reason I'm doing this, for some context, is to reuse a table definition for two separate logical databases. I want changes in the table to be shown in both the places it's used so I don't want a deep copy. If there's a better way of doing this I'd appreciate any pointer.

Thanks,

Steve

If I understand your question correctly, yes, it is possible.

Check Tools | Options | Diagram | Behavior | Show Linked Items in Package.
