Deleting excess pages in diagram
« on: July 06, 2007, 12:56:36 pm »
I somehow managed to end up with 221 pages in my Domain Model diagram and would like to know how to get rid of the 220 pages I do not need.  Any help is appreciated.

That's interesting to say the least.

I'm guessing here but...

Take a look at the project browser, to see if there's something in the same package as the diagram that does not seem to be in the 'page 1' part that you normally want to look at.

Perhaps you've got some item off in the distance. EA sometimes assigns some (almost) arbitrary positions to new elements, or the position could have been set in some other way. If there is some element way off in the distance EA might be filling in the pages between the part of the model you can see and the errant element.

Try making a copy of the diagram, then doing a layout. I suggest the copy since layout may scramble your diagram - at least as far as your intended audience is concerned - and cannot be undone.

No, you can't have it!

Thank you! I found an entity on page 221 that I didnt need.
I deleted it and now I'm back to 1 page.
