Its a good product, its just that the users are exacting. Most of the users are masters in their respective fields and therefore their expectations are high.

Then god help the punters...

My expectation is that a UI follow basic UI patterns and pattern languages already developed to stimulate, not hinder, the user experience.

Regardless, Billy's point stands.

Yes, the tool could be improved; we could even help improve it.

But given the alternatives, several better in one or a few facets, Billy's point stands.

Next moves anyone?
No, you can't have it!

There is no tool out there that meets all my requirements. I have sent in a number of feature requests in the past few months and I am waiting in anticipation. EA is not my perfect toolset but compared to the market...I recently introduced EA to an Architect who was a veteran of Rational Rose and Telelogic System Architect. He was grateful. What else can I say. I concur with billyW

I am sure the grass is greener on the other side... until you get to the other side.

I like how Sparx are small enough to be agile and include features/ fixes requested.  I've had a couple of fixes specific to my environment made.  I would never have got that level of support from one of the big companies (even if I paid them a mega hundreds of thousands priority support contract).

I hope Sparx stays private (?) and doesn't sell out!
Cheers,
DAvid.
